Every year it is traditional for the club to take a trip out to PA. on the Saturday after Thanksgiving. We call this trip 'Turkey Trot'. Here are some of the pictures I took on the Turkey Trot 2006.

Our next stop was actually Rails & Shafts which is a book store specializing in railroad books. After lunch we headed for Jim Thorpe and I took this picture from the train ride we took.

After the ride we walked down towards where the cabooses and locomotives are stored. This is Mike Curry preparing to take some pictures.

It is amazing to me that this Lehigh Valley caboose is still in this good a shape.

A parting shot of CNJ RS3 #1554. This is the last of the pictures I have of the 2006 version of the Turkey Trot. From here it was on to dinner and then some model railroad clubs, ending the evening at the Bethelhem club before heading home.
