Jack Appel





Jack was a long time member and enjoyed helping out at our
annual Holiday Train Show. He loved to guide families around
and explain the different train displays.
He and his wife Ruth almost always came to the Club BBQ and would
spend the afternoon socializing.
He was a gentleman and will be missed.

















Jack Appel MARCH 11, 1930 – NOVEMBER 2, 2020 Jack was born on March 11, 1930 to Herman Appel and Celia Burinescu Appel. He grew up in Williamsburg with his sisters Ruthie and Annette, in modest but love-filled surroundings, sleeping in a shared bed with his brother Lenny. Jack was a boy scout who sold newspapers on the street to help out his family.
